The Leaf Stopper

This requires constant re-bending and straightening. The Leaf Stopper puts an end to that. It is a simple straightforward devices that is easily trimmed to fit most common rakes on the market today. Once sized, it fits right onto the ends of the rake and keeps them perfectly spaced. No more splitting up just because an object was too big or heavy.

The optional scoop fits on the handle and is adjustable with a thumbscrew for custom placement. The scoop is very handy for smaller leaves, fine gravel or even slushing materials that would have been impossible before.

If your rake eventually wears out, you can simply move the Leaf Stopper to another one as neither it nor the scoop is permanently attached.

Meet the Inventor

Robert McQuade

About the developer

The inventor, Robert McQuade of Millville, NJ had an idea for a better way to keep rakes from constantly clogging due to bending and separating of the rake ends. He created and improved his prototype and came up with a streamlined, effective device. Robert contacted the Mars Rising Network and had a provisional and design patent application filed and had the invention refined so that he may see success with this great idea and turn it into a real product.

He is actively seeking a company that would have an interest in licensing the product for a royalty..
